Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Beloved Community Program
Join us on Monday, January 20 for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Beloved Community Program, in partnership with the Arlington Coalition of Black Clergy. Hosted here at Mount Olive, we will celebrate Dr. King’s life with a day of inspiration and enlightenment. There will be a panel discussion from 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., followed by the Beloved Community Program at 12 p.m.
Our featured speaker is Mrs. Willie Pearl Mackey King, a key figure in the Civil Rights Movement who typed the historic Letter from Birmingham Jail for Dr. King and worked at the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Her insights will be enriching for all.
This event will take place in-person, as well as streamed on our online platforms.
