
March 19 Lenten Service Featuring Rev. Marcellous Mack
Reverend Mack is a dedicated and seasoned Baptist minister with nearly three decades of pastoral experience. A native of Washington, D.C., Reverend Mack was raised by his grandparents and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior early. He is a licensed and ordained minister in the Baptist church, holding a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary. He has served in various capacities, including senior minister at several Baptist congregations and junior church and youth pastor at the historic Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago.
Reverend Mack’s contributions extend beyond the pulpit, having served as an adjunct faculty member at The Queen City Bible College and as director of Christian Education and dean of the Religious Institute for several missionary Baptist associations. In February 2024, he was called to be the Senior Pastor of Mt. Salvation Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia, and was installed in May 2024. His commitment to ministry is encapsulated in his desire to please God and his embodiment of 1 Corinthians 1:21. Reverend Mack is also a lifetime member of the NAACP and a regular volunteer for various organizations.
