Dear Lord,

Forgive our sins and all the ways we have fallen short of Your glory.  We thank You for Your unfailing mercy and Your amazing grace.

Lord, You promised in Your word that You would never leave us nor forsake us, and we know, Lord, that You are true to Your word.

Lord, keep us in Your care.

When we face the torrents of life with raging storms all around, You lift us up. You are our strong tower. When we feel defeated with adversaries surrounding us, You lift us up. You are our rock and our refuge. When we are in darkness, You are the light. When we are lost, You guide us home.  When our hearts are full of sorrow, You give us hope.  When we are uncertain, You give us blessed assurance.  When the world is desolate and cold, You warm us with Your Holy Spirit.  When we feel alone, You remind us that You are ALWAYS with us.  When we are anxious and in distress, You shield us from danger.  When we feel unloved, You remind us that we are heirs to Your kingdom.

Lord, keep us in Your care.

In our darkest hour or our brightest days, You lift us up.

Forgive us, Lord, for our selfishness. Help us to remember every good and perfect gift comes from You. Help us to be cheerful givers to those in need.

Forgive us, Lord, for any times we have been prideful, boasting of our own works. Help us to be ever mindful that we are not saved by works, rather only by the blood of Jesus.

Forgive us, Lord, for the many times we have gone astray and have been led by our own understanding. Help us to remember always that Your will and Your way are perfect.

You are our savior and redeemer; You lift us up. Before we speak a word of prayer, Lord, You already know our hearts and our every need.

Lord, thank You for hearing every prayer, every cry, and every groan. We thank you, Father, for the privilege of knowing that when we are in need, we can hasten to Your throne of grace.  It is there that we know we can leave every worry and every concern. Thank you, Lord, for hearing and for answering our prayers.

Lord, Your blessings have been so great, they have truly been above what we could ask or imagine. Help us to be worthy.

Lord, keep us in Your care.

Please guide our every step and our every word, that all we do and say might be to Your glory and pleasing in Your sight.
